So Many Updates!

Corrie – She was supposed to have surgery on Sunday to correct her imperforated anus but on Saturday night she got a urinary tract infection.  Now she is on antibiotics and will stay in the hospital until she receives surgery on Saturday.  She will be in the hospital for about 5 days.  Please remember to pray for her!

Luke – He is still waiting for surgery!  They did all of the tests over again but this week is passover so nothing will be done until next week.  We don’t have an exact date but maybe, just maybe next week will be the big day!  Please pray for Gretl, the lady who went with him and is taking care of him there, she is very busy helping in the home there and helping with the other kids all the while caring for Luke.  We know she is very tired and can use much prayer!

Emily – Our new arrival!  As you can see in the picture below she is one beautiful little girl!!  They say she has a very complicated heart problem but they didn’t say what it was.  We will know more when we have her checked out, probably next week.  We were expecting a blue and purple baby but she’s not!

Faith – She is doing very well!  She is walking all over the place and when she gets more comfortable she will be a handful!  She is very cute and has an attitude to go with it.

Abby – Since we moved into the new place Abby’s hair has started growing like crazy!  She is very cute and when she is in her walker she can go wherever she wants!!  She is still very slow but we rejoice with every ounce of improvement!!

Josiah – Looking at Josiah now it’s hard to believe he arrived at our home in December and he was nothing but skin and bones.  He looked so awful it was very sad.  Now he looks amazing!  He loves to smile and jump in the jumper.  I think he could go all day if we would leave him in it that long!  He is so healthy and happy and he always has a smile on his handsome face!  He drinks liquid gold but it’s worth every penny!!!

Matthew -  Please pray for this little guy.  He is struggling with eating and he never really gets hungry.  The nannies have to feed him at certain times otherwise he would never eat.  Please, please remember to pray for him.  He is going to go to a different home next month, they are equipped to care for him long term and have a lot of experience with children with his same conditions.  We love him and want to do what’s best for him.

Since all of the babies have been in the new home they are doing so much better!  They are happy and have so many new places to explore and a lot of much needed stimulation!  Please continue to pray for them and that God will place them in families!!
