Corrie Update

Early Friday morning Corrie was put on a strict NPO diet, or nothing by mouth. She was placed on an IV and the surgeon came in to say surgery would be Saturday at 9:30.

At 10:30 another doctor came in to say that Corrie was being discharged. Yes, discharged.

As it turns out the hospital was over full and some political and financial things popped up which caused Corrie, who was the least serious of the children inpatient, to be bumped.

What normally takes 4-5 hours when we are in a hurry, took 10 minutes as she was discharged immediately.

The plan is right now that she will be scheduled again just as soon as a bed is available in the hospital, presumably she will be able to go next weekend again, as the doctor only does surgery on the weekend.

Please pray for this situation, it is extremely dangerous for her to go much longer without surgery, her kidneys are severely compromised and without surgery she will continue to get bladder infections.
