Finally, finally we have some news on Luke.
Gretl is having a difficult time. It isn't because of Luke, but it is because of the situation. She has not been a 24hour mom to him for the last 5 weeks, with no break. She is not allowed to leave...and is understandably having a hard time. We have tried to encourage her and have asked for some help for her, but please pray for her.
Surgery has not yet been scheduled. There was a meeting with all of the cardio surgeons and from what we understand his heart is so bad and so critically severe, they still don't know what to do. They have sent him in for a new echo today and we are waiting for those results to know when they will plan surgery.
Since we have known that his heart was incredibly severe this isn't a surprise, but the delay concerns us and what they will actually do when they go in is concerning.
We continue to pray for his healing and trust that we will have more news soon!
