Life as usual

Christmas came and went, with hardly a moment to stop and realize that it actually was Christmas.

Now, we are getting ready to start a new year, and I can't hardly believe the last one is over. So many things happened this year.

The holiday mode is just beginning here, as 4 weeks from now will start the holiday of all holidays, Chinese New Year.

But, for the babies, life is as usual, if there is such a thing.

Luke has come home from the hospital and is doing well, and all the babies are healthy, with the exception of Adam.

Our driver has commented almost every day about how quiet the house has been and how all the babies have been so happy and not crying, yes, that is what happens when we have a healthy house!

Adam on the other hand has not been behaving. He has seen the doctor 2 times in the past week and all agreed to continue current treatment. Unfortunately on Tuesday night he stopped breathing again and we rushed him to the hospital.

This time we are praying that a solution is found for what is going on and that he is adequately treated.

Having this happen again has confirmed a couple things that we have been talking about and praying about.

1. We need a new car. We are hoping to purchase that in the next few weeks, it isn't an option.

2. We are going to start a medical fund, specifically for kids like Adam who need treated in the best hospital so that we never have to make the choice NOT to put him there. We will be sharing more about this as we talk to the Morning Star board and figure out how to make it manageable.

(Here is Adam mustering up a half smile even though so miserable. Unfortunately minutes after this he became very purple and couldn't hardly breathe. The doctors came in and talked to us about intubating him. Thankfully as of right now he still doesn't have a tube in.)
